Hi, I’m Raleigh. I was picked up by Houston Animal Control (BARC). I had a collar, but sadly my owner never came to claim me. And to top it off, I got sick while in the shelter. But luckily I was rescued, got well and now I'm lookin’ to call your place home.

I’m fun loving and a fetching fool. I haven’t met a tennis ball I didn’t like. One of my favorite games I call self-fetching. I place a tennis ball on the bottom shelf of the bookcase. When it rolls off, I grab it. I don’t need loads of activity to keep me happy. Just a few minutes playing fetch in the back yard and I’ll happily come in the house and chew on a Nylabone or a stuffed toy. I also like to curl up on my donut bed or at your feet and watch TV with you. I'm a snuggler and an excellent house dog.

My birthday is around April 1, 2008. I’m about knee-high and weigh just 30 lbs. (I'm a gal who's not too small and not too big--an ideal companion dog). They call me a smooth fox terrier/shepherd mix because I’m the size of a terrier but have some shepherd markings. I’m spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on heartworm preventative. I’m also microchipped so I'll never go homeless again.

And did I mention I’ve been professionally obedience trained at Rover Oaks? I’m also house trained and crate trained.
